In the fast-paced world we live in, patience is often in short supply. We want results now, and we want them on our terms. But what if I told you that there’s a divine timetable at work, one that’s not synchronised with our own?
In the midst of this impatience, there lies a powerful message about faith and patience in the context of the biblical prophecies we receive from God.
Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) reminds us, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season, we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
These words are a beacon of hope for those who believe in God’s promises.
God’s Timing Is Perfect:
First and foremost, we must acknowledge that God has your due season mapped and scheduled. His timetable doesn’t conform to our expectations or desires. Instead, it aligns with His divine plan for our lives. We must recognise three certainties:
#1 Harvest Will Come: Just as a seed planted in the ground eventually yields a harvest, our obedience and faith in God’s Word will bear fruit in due time.
#2 God Is Never Late nor Early: His timing is precise and purposeful, ensuring that His promises come to fruition exactly when they should.
#3 Nature of Our Seeds: The nature of our harvest is determined by the seeds we sow. Therefore, we must plant seeds of faith, love, kindness, finances and action, then protect them and water them through prayer.
The Journey of a Seed:
A critical point to remember is that a seed doesn’t sprout overnight. It first grows downward, establishing deep roots before it reaches upward, breaking through the surface. Similarly, the seeds of prophecy, destiny and purpose within us must take root deep within our hearts before they can manifest in the world beyond our current realities.
Victory Is Assured:
The promise of victory is a sure thing, but it comes with conditions. We must not lose heart or falter physically or spiritually. To illustrate this, 1 Timothy 1:18-19 (NKJV) offers valuable guidance:
“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck.”
Timothy’s Example:
At Timothy’s ordination, he received a prophecy from the apostle Paul. This prophecy signified his prophetic mandate to safeguard and preserve the doctrine Paul preached—an apostolic calling and grace. By meditating on and standing firm on this prophecy, Timothy would have found the determination to wage a good warfare, just as we are called to do with the promises and destinies for our lives.
Three Keys to Navigating Biblical Prophecies:
Hebrews 6:11-12 emphasises the importance of imitating those who have inherited promises through faith and patience. A great cloud of witnesses surrounds us, and we must draw inspiration from their journeys.
Faith: Faith is the foundation of our journey. We must stand on God’s word, building our faith as we walk the path set before us. We trust what God says and do what He instructs.
Patience: Patience, as a fruit of the Spirit, allows us to trust God’s design and embrace the journey. Even when we feel stuck or out of control, we must hand over control to Jesus, our trusted pilot.
Speak the Word: Lastly, we must speak the Word and God’s promises over our lives.
Ezekiel 37 teaches us that we must first see things in the spirit before they manifest in the natural. Like the Spirit of God hovering over the void in Genesis, the Spirit is waiting for us to release His word so He can breathe life into it.
Conclusion:
In the journey of navigating biblical prophecies, remember that patience and faith are your allies. Hold fast to the promises God has given you, and trust in His perfect timing. Your victory is assured if you refuse to be discouraged, remain steadfast in faith, and continue sowing seeds of love, kindness, prayer, expectation, finances and action. The path may be long and challenging, but with God’s guidance and unwavering faith, you will reap the harvest in due season.
“The major difference between the big shot and the little shot is the big shot is just a little shot who kept on shooting.”

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, ~~~~ Malachi 3:10 NIV

In this verse, God invites His people to test Him in the areas of tithing. He promises to pour out blessings upon blessings if we are faithful in bringing our tithes to Him. This goes beyond mere material blessings ; it encompasses all areas of our lives. When we honour God with our finances, we acknowledge Him as the provider of all things and demonstrate our trust in His provision. God’s promises are not empty words. He is faithful to fulfil what He has spoken. As we obey His commandments and walk in His ways, we position ourselves to to receive His abundant blessings. He opens the floodgates of heaven and pours out blessings that exceed our expectations. His blessings overflow and fill every aspect of our lives. Help us Heavenly Father to trust in Your provision and to honour You with our tithes and offerings. In Jesus Mighty Name AMEN AMEN
